Westwood has previously stated how she uses her fashion as a means to get messages across. It was no surprise then that her show opened with a T-shirt called ‘Vital Statistics’. Designed to raise money for Naomi Campbell’s Fashion for Relief charity, it featured a photo of a pair of breasts along with statistics about Haiti and climate change.

Outerwear came in the form of ankle-length coats, oversized collars and hats. Strong structured shoulders and waist-cinching details were also key.

The colour palette was dominated by maroon, mustard, pink and blue, while leading fabrics were tartan, tweed and wool.
