It’s our go-to high street store for just about everything: our weekend wardrobe, occasion wear and street style outfits but now Topshop has teamed up with Kate Bosworth to dress us down for festivals too. The retail giant has gone all muddy field and welly boots on us with its brand new Spring Summer Festival Collection and it’s got us all lusting after distressed denim and ditsy floral prints.

The boho look is pretty tough to achieve and usually involves a lot of elbow grease, charity shop runs and grandma's sewing machine.

But now Topshop have created a hassle-free collection of festival staples to see you through from Glastonbury gigs to Bestival bashes.

Kate Bosworth

Film actress
born 02/01/1983

Featuring rustic gilets, hippie headbands and metallic maxis this collection is our fail-safe festival look book.

Coachella saw Hollywood’s rich and famous partying in print and dancing in denim so you can imagine our delight when festival guru Kate Bosworth was named as the celeb designer and face of Topshop’s covetable 16 piece collection.

Kate said, "I’ve always had a love of fashion. To gain learning experience from the Topshop design team has been a great opportunity for me. Our intent was to create fresh, wearable, and effortless festival pieces. I am proud of our work together and I adore these pieces.”

The actress added: "For the collection I channeled sunlight… freedom… joy… youth… rebellion. I’m attracted to a counterbalanced feminine / masculinity. To me, this is the most sexy.

“A faded cropped t-shirt with loose distressed boyfriend jeans, slung low and a plaid shirt tied round the waist. The choice of a suede material on the laser cut pieces was critical because it gave them a tougher edge, like the chaps on a girl in the Wild West.”

We can’t wait to team our welly boots with this lot.

Check out Kate's dreamy promo video for the collection, ‘The Road to Coachella’, directed by fiancé Michael Polish and shot on the way to the festival.
