This Nurse Is Tackling The Stigma Of Crohn's Disease With Her Sexy Lingerie Collection

After having a ileostomy bag fitted when she was just 20 years old, this inspiring nurse has designed her very own lingerie collection to help empower other women suffering from crohn's disease to feel sexy again.

Jasmine Stacey has suffered with crohn's disease, which causes chronic inflammation of the digestive system, for 14 years.

At just 20-years-old, she underwent major surgery to remove part of her intestine which left her needing a ileostomy bag, but despite going through with the life changing procedure she was determined she would still feel sexy in her underwear.

Inspired by the lack of beautiful under garms available for women in her situation, she decided to launch her own underwear collection to help other women feel confident and sexy again.

"I want to take the stigma away from having a stoma bag and prove you can still be sexy with underwear. I want to get the message out there that it is not as bad as people think and that young people have stoma bags as well as old people.

"We hope our underwear is stylish without being flimsy and empowers women to feel confident whether they have stoma bags, scars, or simply want more stomach control."

Stacey hopes the collection will help all women with body confidence issues, not just women with stoma bags, "I always say that underwear is the foundation for confidence. If you are wearing nice underwear you feel better."
