One of the pleasures of Eley Kishimoto's shows is that they always inject colourful optimism into the hectic schedule and you emerge as if you have been submerged in a technicolour dream. The soundtrack seemed to be provided by an iPod shuffle and was a throbbing mix of electro beats.

Prints, as you would expect, are key here but this season more pieces have been teamed with plain colours - for example a floral and leaf print blue and white jacket was shown with a tangerine chiffon dress and there are contrasting prints juxtaposed.

Playfulness is also integral to Wakako and Mark's work this season. This is expressed in pinafore dresses, printed jumpsuits and a beautiful oversized shirt dress as well as classic crochet cardigans and patchwork. Tailored shorts and slouchy off-the-hip skirts contrast with the vibrant prints. Spots, stripes and gingham-style checks all appear. Swans are honoured in a cool black T-shirt as well as appearing on brooches.
