It's not often Mr Lagerfeld is in our bad books but after dressing the uber slim Keira Knightley and Rihanna in his corseted layer dress we can't help but ask, what was he thinking? We love a waist cinching designer number as much as the next girl but hello Bend It Like Beckham anyone? These girls certainly don't need any help in the toned tum department.

Chanel is easily the most anticipated show at PFW and with a supermarket sweep theme and Rihanna and Cara running riot down the aisles, you can kinda see why.

Trolly dash entertainment aside, Karl's ready to wear collection caused a few frowns yesterday when Keira Knightley stepped out in his SS14 ready to wear 'masterpiece'.

The 28-year-old actress looked sickly thin in the body sculpting ensemble. The boxy cut of the skirt sits on the widest part of the hips, making Keira's 23 inch waist look scary small in comparison.

She wasn't the only one subject to slim-me-down garb. Ri-Ri also turned heads at PFW dressed in a very similar Chanel number.

The What Now singer donned a lilac version of the tweed corset dress and teamed it with matching sneakers -her impeccably small waist on full display.

The illusion dress is nothing new but Karl Lagerfeld may have taken the couture concept to a whole new level.
