Over the years, Christophe Josse seems to have gotten rid of all the oppressive details of clothing, leaving behind just the essential and putting real emphasis on the female body, yet overly simplfying is silhouettes.

Inspired by Jane Austen's heroines, Christophe Josse's delicate collection is for romantic and proud women but there is nothing cloying about it.

Amongst the patchwork of lace and tulle, highlights include a white poplin dress with organza petals embroidered on the sleeves, black satin suits and a trench coat embroidered with pearly sequins.

And special mention goes to the presence of a little beetle! A new motif, it was found on embroideries, on a shoulder and even in the lining of a jacket.
