How to get the look:

Jonathan Long, Celebrity Hairdresser and Co-Founder of King's Road hot spot Lockonego, reveals all there is to know about this season's it colour.

The best way to go bronde

The best way to achieve bronde is by making sure that the shades chosen by your hairdresser are only a couple of tones either side of your natural hair colour and that only a maximum of two tones are used in the treatment. When I use this technique in salon, I begin working the colour into the hair a few inches from the root, which creates a natural look.

TLC guide for coloured hair

Caring for coloured hair is vital and is something which people often overlook. For me, a good quality colour shampoo and conditioner or treatment is key. Investing in a good hair mask such as Unite U Luxury Intense Mask is important to keep hair looking and staying healthy from root to tip as frequent colouring can damage hair.

This powerful treatment mask is formulated with amber extract which is an intense antioxidant which repairs, protects and strengthens hair. It also includes a nourishing blend of crushed pearl, Hawaiian white honey and pure argan oil which deeply conditions and moisturises hair from the inside out.

The shade of the season

Bronde hair has always been popular but right now it's having its very own red carpet moment. The technique instantly enhances natural hair colour by simply combining carefully selected golden, blonde tones with deep, rich brunette shades. It's free, easy to maintain and doesn’t involve a drastic colour change which can be too harsh during the summer.
