Beyonce And Topshop To Join Forces For Active Streetwear Brand

If you’ve been anywhere near Beyonce’s Instagram page you’ll know she’s quite the Topshop fan. She’s only human after all. Now, she’s joining up with the high street's hottest brand to create an active street wear label. Toppers sports chic? Maybe that gym membership will come in handy after all.

Before you go thinking what’s so great about another celebrity collaboration, let’s just say this one has killed it. Oh and it’s not a collaboration, it’s a 50-50 partnership. And this is Queen Bey we’re talking about.

The joint venture, dubbed the Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd, is about ‘building a brand and building business – a separate, proper business, with separate overheads and a separate office.’ The girl did good.

That means the Drunk In Love singer will ‘create and produce a technical and fashion-led collection and participate in all aspects of the partnership.’ Which roughly translates as 'OMG she would have actually touched everything' #neverwashingagain

So what can we expect? The brand will include performance clothing, footwear and accessories across dance, fitness and sports categories. Suddenly nailing the Single Ladies dance seems all the more possible. Dream. Come. True.

Sir Phillip Green told WWD: “Creating a partnership with Beyoncé, one of the most hard-working and talented people in the world, who spends many hours of her life dancing, rehearsing and training is a unique opportunity to develop this category.

“Being partners with Beyoncé and her team, who have the greatest creative energy and enthusiasm, is inspiring for all of the team at Topshop. We have much to achieve in just under a year, but we are all up for the challenge, and look forward to delivering athletic streetwear in an inventive and exciting way."

We. Can. Not. Wait.
