There's so much in the way of nail art now with all the wraps, bling and stencils to play with but that said, our digits got a tad excited when we heard about Gwen Stefani's punk-inspired polish collaboration with OPI. Kick ass colour with a professional finish? There's No Doubt it'll be flying off the beauty shelves.

With her feisty attitude and eccentric style Gwen Stefani's the star candidate for a stand out manicure and who can refuse one of those when they're there for the taking?

She's the only woman known on earth that can pull off the double top knot/bandana thing and not look like a 90s throwback pirate so it's no wonder OPI snapped her up as their latest collaborator.

The collection includes seven limited edition shades in Hollywood red, glazed cherry and must-have metallics. We've got our eye on the kooky 4 in the Morning lacquer.

All the names nod to Gwen's music with titles such as Hey Baby, I Sing in Color, Love.Angel.Music.Baby., 4 in the Morning, In True Stefani Fashion, Push and Shove and Over & Over A-Gwen.

The Hollaback Girl's range is a unique blend of Met Ball punk and easy-to-wear colours, so whether you've got a hot date or an important meeting there's a mani colour for every occasion.

From mirrored finishes and coats of chrome to pewter studs, you defo want to keep this collection on your crimbo radar.

OPI's executive vice president and artistic director Suzi Weiss-Fischmann said: "Gwen uses beauty to accessorise her style. OPI wanted to create a collection as dramatic, diverse, and glamorous as its namesake."

The range will launch in January 2014.
