If you're stuck for Halloween hued lipstick then you'll be glad to hear Dolce and Gabbana has launched their Sicilian Jewels collection. Featuring four spooky shades including ghoulish green and bewitching purple, this bold lippy collection is your must-have weapon for the glammest Halloween on record. Fright night just got fashionable.

Fancy dress is half the fun if your face doesn't match up to the fright factor of your zombie bride outfit so it's a good thing luxe label Dolce and Gabanna has released a Halloween palette for your to play with.

Introducing their Sicilian Jewels collection inspired by the gemstones ruby, amethyst, topaz and emerald, only this precious pout has a spooky Halloween twist.

The bold collection makes for the perfect wall paint with a glamorous designer edge. The ruby red shade is a classic do-by-day shade and linchpin colour on the catwalk whilst the ogre green is probably best kept for the fancy dress box.

Make like Rihanna with ice queen purple or take inspiration from D&G's gleaming AW13 mosaics with the topaz yellow/gold option.

As well as four stare-at-me lipsticks, the collection is also set to include matching nail lacquers so you can bejewel yourself from lip to tip.

Legendary D&G make-up artist, Path McGrath says: “Matching your lipstick to your nail lacquer is a hot make up trend. We chose four new shades that showcase the theatrical and playful side of looking good: they are so shiny and special that they’ll be a perfect complement to any Christmas or New Year outfit.

“They can be worn in a young, ironic interpretation or with a more grown-up, sophisticated vibe. Just like a piece of jewellery.”

For those quaking in their boots to brave a bold lip this season, how about experimenting with eye shadows and highlighters?

These luxury lipsticks can double up as gorgeous cream eyeshadows with a gem-like gleam and you can even use the yellow topaz shade as a highlighter. Everyone's a winner!

The bad news is the collection goes on sale at Harrods on 1st November so maybe hold off from Thursday's Halloween party and stretch out the spooky celebrations over to this weekend instead. It'll be worth it for the wall paint!
