Before Kim Kardashian took over the contouring craze a certain Spice Girl was leading the way for face sculpting wall paint, yes Mrs Beckham we're talking about you. In this week's beautorial we take on bronzed temples, highlighted cheekbones and a big blending brush. Yes girls, the time has come to get to grips with this technique once and for all. Don't know where to start? Follow our easy, peasy step-by-step guide!

If you're anything like us sucked in cheeks and chiseled jawlines are up there on your list of celebrity looks to love but you just haven't got a clue where to start. There's plenty of ways to add shape and definition using contouring powder or concealer, from streamlining your nose to softening a square face or breaking up a long one, but that's where it gets a little bit expert.

The good news is you don't have to go strong and statement a la Kim Kardashian and it's probably best you don't. Kimmy has mastered that look and she's a dab hand at blending it all together, but for DIY purposes it's best to start light and gradually build up. Think about how your face looks in shadow and try to recreate soft shading that works with your skin tone. Nobody wants to be sporting two stripy Snickers bars for cheeks.

We looked to Victoria Beckham for inspiration to create an easy and effortless look that's perfect for daytime and better yet, takes minutes to master. Here's the beginner's guide to gorgeous definition in just five simple steps.
