Ruby Rose's look is the thing of androgynous dreams. The gender fluid actress has been a style icon ever since we first laid eyes on her in Orange Is The New Black, and has inspired a whole bevy of cropped haircuts since. So it only seems natural that Urban Decay has snapped her up to be the face of their new makeup range.

Makeup brand Urban Decay has teamed up with model and actress Ruby Rose and it's basically a match made in edgy heaven. The last person to launch a makeup range with the brand was queen of the red lip Gwen Stefani, pretty much cementing Urban Decay as one cool as f*ck makeup label.

Ruby Rose. Urban Decay. Obviously. #UrbanDecay @rubyrose

It's not clear whether Ruby will be creating a makeup line for the brand or whether she's simply taking part in a campaign. Either way, we saw Ruby Rose sporting cat eyes and hot pink lips and now we want cat eyes and hot pink lips. Since Urban Decay shared the image on Friday to their Instagram account, the image has had over a whopping 52k likes. Another image they posted on Friday has a quote from Ruby which states: '"Urban Decay believes in supporting individuality and personal self-expression— two values I hold very dear— because everyone deserves the freedom to explore their personality and discover their true selves." - @RubyRose #UrbanDecay'.

Apart from being in hit American TV show Orange Is The New Black, Ruby is perhaps most famously known for being gender fluid. In 2014, she released a video entitled Break Free in which she identified as someone who knows "what it is like to have an identity that deviated from the status quo". The video meant that Ruby then went on to become a massive influence on the LGBT community and is now one of the most popular LGBT ambassadors alongside OITNB transgender co-star Laverne Cox.

We literally can't wait for this makeup. We're totally ready to cut all our hair off and buy all the eyeshadow, and then we'll look just like Ruby, right? Right.
